I have decided on ordering the Pro Armor Nerfs with heel guards. (not the pro pegs). what is the overall concensus on these nerfs of those people who have owned them? Is there enough room between the peg and heel guard to move your heels without being cramped? Was the fit good, and hows the overall durability? I don't XC or MX, just ride the trails and want something other than just the junk stock guards.

I like those nerfs on the black 400 ex.

I like how they kinda bend in toward the front.

Usually, nerfs look like a freakin' sheet of plywood bolted to the bottom of the quad, but those look more natural / like original equipment.

DO you know what model those are, or where you got them?

All the ones I can find online don't look like yours.

the are the pro armor pro peg nerfs...they changed the style of the heel guard recently...i also have these and they are great. i always hated having heel guards but i bought these hoping they wouldn't annoy me. i don't even notice that they are there except for having cleaner pants and boots....

Me too.

Tho this weekend I tried "locking" my heels into the heel guards, and it helped me keep my foot on the pegs.

Gave me a better feeling of control.

I have the ones pictured in the top post. I think they are real good. Lots of room.

Those are sweet. I'm looking at the nerfs with heel guards. Not the pro pegs. I think they are pretty much the same design minus the pegs. Thanks guy. I'm sold on the looks of them.

get the pro peg, you will love having the widfer peg with the kick up at then end...you can use that kick-up as leverage and have more control over the bike...

i won't ever ride without either again

That is a SICK 450R fella. That is exactly what my next quad is going to look like. Outstanding job guy

actually everyone is saying that they are pro pegs and i have The "Fat Pegs". I think the only difference is that they have the fatter(wider) pegs so i have more grip.

Im pretty sure that pro armor makes the pro peg in position of the fat pegs.

at Proarmor.com they are 299.00

Go Here:
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/vehicleSelectProd.do#vehicleSelect

at RockyMountain Atv they are 245.00 so youll save a few bucks.

i think this is what you want... the heel guards have changed a little but theyre still great.

Thanx for the link.

The newer ones just look so HUGE.

The onens you have look smaller, and they look like from the foot pegs forward, they taper in toward the frame.

I like the ways yours look, and not the HUGE look.

I have the same exact ones on my bike and got the from my local honda shop for $188 with tax was like 204 or something.

The heel gaurds have plenty of room if not more than the stock heel guards. I used the heel guards to mount my heel in and i have plenty of room. Very nice nerfs IMHO.

I'm happy to hear that everyone has postive things to say about them because I am getting the nerf bar/pro peg/heel guard ones for Christmas. Can't wait!
