i really like the maxxis Razr 2's, but ive also heard good about the ITP HD's. i was woundering which hooks up better and which takes longer to wear out.

Both are good tires from my experience the hd hooks up well but don't have a lot of slide they work extreamly well in the mud and deep ruts. They are on the heavy side and have a really tough sidewall as for wear they do last longer than a normal holeshot tire but the razr 2 will wear longer.

The razr 2 will have more slide I believe when I weighed the 2 the hd was 1.5 lbs per tire heavier. I know this doesn't help that much but you won't go wrong with either tire.

Colby, have you weighed the gncc? How does it compare to the HDs and Razr2s?

the gncc's are 5lbs per tire lighter.

I have the HD's all around and they are great, I did notice this year in the mud the fronts get totally caked full of mudd and you can't turn worth a dime on them. So get the HD rears and the GNCC fronts.

Just a note I was talking about the rears, the HD fronts I did not like at all.

Do you think the GNCCs are just as tough as the razr2s and HDs? What about traction and the ability to slide?
