i am in the process of puting new brake pads on my '05 400EX. i took it apart about a week ago and inspected them and they were terrable. i ordered them and they wont be here untill about the 10th. i just want to know if it is OK that they sat out without pads that long? also, after i install them i have to add break fluid, how do i go about doing that? :confused:

yes its ok to let them sit with out pads just make sure no water or an moisture can get near them, and if your asking how to add brake fluid take the lid off the reziviore, take the plastic piece and the rubber biit out and add your fluid

youll have to pump your break handle several times to re build pressure
