View Full Version : New to Whey. Got some questions??

well had a weight lifting session last monday at 6am and my friend gave me some Whey afterwards to mix in my water. Then 2:30pm comes around and I was ready for practice and not even sore. So I went out and bought some today. ShouldI be taking this even more than just after lifting? Maybe in the morning? Help me out.

Oh btw. I am a swimmer so Protien is crucial for me.

depending on how much protein you need..they say to build mass you need 1+1/2 grams per 1 lb.of your weight..you can take it 2-3 times during the day(post activitys works best) or look into meal replacement shakes if your not into heavy lifting for a few extra grams of protein..but you can use it pretty much anytime

so will it be okay if I took it in the morning before school and then just right after practice?

for better results throw a drink in at lunch also and have known guys to have a shake before bed also

i dont lift excessivly. oNly monday,wensday, and friday mornings, but I def think i need it for after practice.
