well i just recently got a new job where i am pretty much running around doing errons and such. Well what i thought were comfortable shoes(nikes, skate shoes and such) are not comfortable after about 3 or 4 hours of really running around. After that it pretty much hurts my feet to even walk lol. SO im in need of some nice shoes. I dont need steel toe boots or boots at all for that matter, just some nice shoes that are really comfortable.

I was thinking doc martins or something like that, but im not exactly sure yet. And its hard to tell which shoes are going to be comfortable after running around in them for 8 hours without me buying every pair in the store.

BTW price doesnt really matter to me, i dont mind spending alot of money on something important as nice shoes.

Don't know if this matters to you,but I have almost all kinds, d.v.s,etnies,nike,....etc. To me Iv'e got a pair of New Ballance for the comfortableness and they are the only sneakers that I can wear all day without them really starting to bother my feet. Plus I knew a foot doctor once told me that they all recommended New Ballance. plus go to zappos.com they heve EVERY sneaker you can think of and I always get my order within days! :D
(P.s they have shoes also if your not looking for sneakers) Sorry if this is not allowed?

Isn't there a few places online where you can get shoes made specifically for your feet? They have stations all around the country and you go to the nearest one and have your foot mapped by lasers. Then they send the info to the company and they make a shoe specifically for your feet. I've heard of these places, but never had any experience with them.

if you want pure comfort, but dont need a "work" looking shoe

nike free is the only way to go, i have a pair i wear around, and another for running and cardio

they are super light, thin, fit to your foots natural arch, and move with your movent (they can bend in a 360degree motion

i would give it a try, i love them. and nike has a thing called iD, were you can design your own with a ton of different colors and styles

Well, I work at a front desk at a hotel. I am on my feet for 8 hours straight 5 days a week. I started the job with some Wal-mart dockers...but those didnt cut it...by a Loooonnng shot! My Feet and back hurt so bad by the end of the day.

I asked around and alot of people were saying get rockports. So I bought a pair of rockport dress shoes. I could tell a huge difference right when I put them on. I have been wearing these shoes since probably march and havent been in pain since. Rockport makes more sportier shoes as well. You should deffinatly give them a try. I ordered mine from www.zappos.com. Free shipping, and it usually will come the next day!

alright ill probably check out those crazy looking nikes everyone has been talking about.

I wore my dual d nikes today and i was still hurting, hopefully these ones will be better, do you guys that wear them have wide feet? usually nikes are uncomfortable to me bcuz they are built for people with narrower feet.

I worked as a valet over the summer at a hospital on your feet at least 8 hours a day sometimes 14 or 15...Majority of the people at the company wore New Balance they are inexpensive and last a long time...Nikes just don't last my sister is big into running etc and burn through Nikes fast...Plus those 360's are designed to work muscles you didn't know you had they aren't made for comfort. If you don't exercise regularly I wouldn't recomend them...They work as if you were running barefoot it works differant muscles and makes you faster in the long run but you can get incredibly sore with them...They even send you a special work out regimate to use with them so that you don't get too sore your first few weeks

not sure if you're serious or not, but i used to wear mocassins like those close to every day. extremely comfortable. except i would skate in mine from time to time for some odd reason and they just slowly fell apart. i need another pair lol

these are what i wear now though..

-Nike SB Zoom Team Edition
http://shopimages-ll.ccs.com//n2nb5601_brtn.jpg
(not that colour but you get the idea. they don't make mine anymore, they were special editions and extremely hard to find)

-Nike SB Dunks
http://shopimages-ll.ccs.com//n2nb4901_chbl.jpg

-Nike SB Dunk Mids
and i'll be getting a pair of these once they come out with a new colour because i hate this colour scheme haha
http://shopimages-ll.ccs.com//n2nb6701_tngd.jpg
as of now those are the only colours for their SB dunk mids

also, quite possibly some of the nicest fabric i've ever felt for shoes on these nikes. no joke. i highly suggest them. a little pricey but they're worth it
