Ok heres the problem... I was looking at a DRZ-400s today and they said when it started it over heated for no reson... the when i got there the oil return witch is above the pipe about and 1/2" melted on the bottom.... does anyone know why i could of over heated and why it oil return melted.... its an 2004 and its in show room cond... theres not a thing wrong with it.. it has 1167 miles..


Please help me.... they are replaceing the part for free and changing all flueid and cleaning the carb....

thats pretty close to the pipe from the looks of it. are you running lean? was the oil return loose or hanging down so that it could touch the pipe? type in better english and we could probably help you out easier haha.

wasnt loose at all ....i think its a stupid design.. does any one know why it over heated...... it was sitting for a while could that be a reason why?

it wasnt touching tho
