'07's... are they special?

I am not trying to start any thing but what is so special about the 07 450's? I know someone who wanted one and none of our dealers could get one now so he ordered it from out of state and payed an insane amount of money for it. Insane being almost $12,000. He is a little different so maybe he is full of *****. I thought $6000 was a lot for my TRX, and I would never pay that kind of money for anything...not even my truck! Just wandering what the deal is...thanks.

There is nothing new on an 07 that is worth that much money. That is insane, borderline stupid, to pay that much for one.

The only thing different for the most part are the graphics and frame colors I beleive.

They added the oil squirter in 07 which cools bottom of piston and lubes wristpin better.This mod has been done alot to other year motors which lacked it in attempt to stop broken rods and pistons.Far as I know thats all that changed from 06's.

the oil thingy, pro taper handle bars, chrome motor mounts, more adjustble shocks. Thats about the only differnces

In Dirtwheels Mag they said the seat has softer foam and Pro Taper "Fat" Bars are Standard on the 07's.
