400ex shocks on a 300ex??

One of my buddy's has a 300ex and he's wanting to buy my stock 400 shocks off of me. Will stock 400 shocks fit on a 300????

He's gonna need 400ex a-arms, tie rods and shock mounts so he can mount the 400ex shocks. The 400 shocks are around 3 inches longer then 300ex. Do a search and you'll find alot on this subject.
