I just went to go start my quad, only to find out my battery is almost out of juice. Is a hayabusa battery the same size as the stock 400 battery? I heard it was alot better than stock and was similiar size but im not sure.

not sure if they are the same, but i know a gsxr 1K will not fit..its an inch to tall for the stock box. someone on here has to know of a higher output battery that will reside in the stock location...i need a new battery too

You have to get that exact part number battery made for the Busa(YT12ABS). I looked into just gettin one from like wallmart and theirs (ES12BS) is almost 3/4 of an inch to tall. Talk to Pappy on here and he can hook you up w/ the battery you need.

Try to save money now, it will bite you in the arse later. The other battery may be cheaper, but it won't last half as long. Yuasa is hard to beat, although it hurts the pocket initially.

Yuasa hands down has the best battery for these applications. All the others are cheaper for specific reasons, starting with how its constructed, quality control and the materials used. Two batteries of the exact same size(both 12A-BS) that are $20 apart are deffinatley NOT the same battery. I can buy the cheaper ones, and they last a season at best, while the Yuasa has a proven record and I have many folks running them for many seasons. You do get what you pay for in this circumstance.
