Bolts On 450r Gas Tank Stripped

I said bolts but what I meant it where the front plastic bolts onto the gas tank on top, the bolts just turn and wont come out. I know that there is a metal piece that is fitted into the plastic for the tank and i can hear it turning. has anyone else had this problem and what do I do? I have to take my entire front plastic off just to get the tank off (not easy w/ a quadtech hood)

I had that happen to me, I brought it to the dealer and they said they cant do anything its either leave it or order a new gas tank. I left it and if I need to get the front plastic off I just carefully pry it over the head of the bolt. I have heard of guys under waranty getting new tanks from honda.
