come on guys besides plastic and graphics and some motor work whats the difference between the trx 450r 05;s and 06's im a hard core 400ex fan but i need more power and i dont see the sence in bulding up a 400 when i can do a 450 let me know

I've heard that the transmissions arnt that great and the frames break easier on the 06's. I'm going to stick with my 05:macho

Basically everything between them is different besides a few choice things such as bars, rims, tirs, etc. I would normally try to list out most things, but the info is already out there. Do a search, there are tons of threads regarding this.

i rode both of them and the 06 is way faster stock. My 06 has wasted alot of the older models. It is a tad bit wider, engine and gearing is different, the compression is higher, and dont forget electric start. STill a Honda is a Honda and i learned from experience, 400-440 still will get a whoopin by any 450.
