i was talkin to my girlfriend yesterday and said, hey when i go full time at my new job, would you be cool with me getting a brand new ltr-450? and she said yes! its awesome, and to all of those saying, dude, you had to ask your girl? haha, just wait till you live with your significant other for a while, youll be askin too, so dont laugh. anyways, i plan on putting some aftermarket stuff on the loan when i get one, what is needed right away? i plan on gettin a pipe, a cherry bomb, and some nerfs with heel guards, but what else, this will be a bike i will be taking to mx tracks, and possibly racing for fun, what do you guys reccomend? thanks

you should definatly invest in a tether kill switch if your going to be racing and stuff. maybe some bars later on after youve ridden it for a while. but you dont need much. parking brake block off and little things to clean up the bars. congrats also! make sure to post some pics of it when you get it

Heres my set up and it works fine i have not had one problem with my bike. Pipe go with Dasa you wont regret it. Next get the CRBM (cherry Bomb) after that i would go with some tires cause the stocks kinda suck especially the front a good set up would be Kenda Klaw Fronts and a ITP MXR4/6 or the SX on whatever size wheel you like. After that go with some Nerf bars from Rath Racing OR you could go with IMS-Roll. After that is all done maybe you could use some new handlebars/controls, if thats so go with Flexx bars they are a bit expensive but they are worth every penny IMO. Maybe go with a full body skidplate so you can protect ur chassis, and since you arnt gonna be doing any serious racing it sounds like thats about all you need to get started in racing.

Btw i forgot to add you will need a Killswitch if your going to race. In that case go with Pro Armor kill switch.
