I just got an ac skid plate for my swingarm. I have no idea on how to mount it.. The part with the plastics is for the chain but when its lined up theres no where to stick the bolts through. any body have pics of there set up.


this is an 88 R btw.

Is your swinger set up for skid plate mounts?

Yes stock swingers are set up for them. Alot of aftermarket ones though have not mounting spots.

If the underside of your swinger has no threaded holes, you don't have mounts. Your only option is to weld them on yourself or buy a different swinger.

the swing arm should have 4 little raised tabs on the bottom with threaded holes in them

also you are going to need to use the spacers because the skid plate wont rest directly on the swing arm
