I just got a new 450r rear caliper and pads and can't figure out how to get the pads into the caliper...help me

Did you just get a 450r? remove the one caliper bolt(12mm head) and pull the caliper up to install pads.

No I have a brand new 450r caliper that I'm putting on my 250r. I'll show you some pictures of what I'm talking about.

I think these little tabs need to be cut off in order to fit the pads into the caliper.

The caliper is two peice. Lossen the bolt top left in picture 2 you posted and the silver bracket will flip up.
