Hi
Its soon before i buy me a Dasa pipe to my 450r for some extra power.
BUT
the 450r is so high geared for my riding , and it will even be faster in the bottom end when i buy a pipe , so i want to gear it down a bit.

its here i need some help.
as most of you know , i ride mx , and i want to have the top speed of the quad around 100km/t , around 60mph.

SOO

should i order a smaller front sprocket or a bigger rear sprocket ?
and how many thoots do i need to go down in the front , and how many more do i need in the rear to get the speed i want ?

thanx for reading
i really need some help about this.
all best
jan:)

Here is a gearing chart I found somewhere.

Maybe it'll help...

If I were you I would wait and ride it with the pipe before buying sprockets. The pipe will actually help with the high end, because it is giving you more bottom end.

If you try and still don't like it, most people drop a tooth up front. However, this was geared too low for my liking...so...I run a 13-36 gear combo.
