Snow!!

Well today we get our first snow and school is cancelled because we are supposed to get around 10-12 inches! Anyone else got a big snow yet?:D

down in BC Canada we got quite a bit, had monday and tuesday off

only rain and im in WI. To day its like 30 degrees out only.

Lots of frezzing rain today in Missouri. School is closed today because of the ice and they are calling for 8-14 inches. So I would say that school will be closed tommrow to.

I've been watching the news , and you guys have been pounded hard for the last little bit . I can't believe the snow and freezing temps you guys have gotten .... here in Ontario , people were wearing shorts . 18 celcius in some parts of the province !!!!:blah:

The cold is comming in though . I was watching the weather network .... it's headed our way .... -20 by the weekend . :(

In alberta here, we got hit with a major cold spell. It hit -40*C with the windchill a few times. Its -27*C right now, but its supposed to start warming up.

Whats funny is yesterday in Missouri it was 60 and the day before that is was 70!!!. Now they are talking about snow.

yup, here in buffalo, we got about 5 feet of snow in mid october, closing schools down for a week, power outages of over 500,000+ customers, downed tree branches, gas shortages, you name it, it happened.

Wow its 66 degrees here in NJ. WE are only suppose to get heavy winds and rain for tomorrows storm.

Yesterday morning when I left Tulsa it was 72 degrees. I drove to Oklahoma City, two hours away, by the time I arrived my outside temp guage in my car said it was 34 degrees. Almost a 40 degree drop in temp in less than two hours!! Only in Oklahoma!

I'm PO'ed, I'm in Wisconsin and still no snow yet. Just the last couple days it's been down in the teens or single digits but before that for the last month or two it's been in the 50's! This is not winter at all!:mad:

snow doesnt shut much down around here, just an everyday thing, a 1 foot snow fall isnt all that big of a deal but the raods here are always shiet they normally dont plow untill the snow has fully stopped, untill then they just dump a bunch of sand and voila 6 inches of dirty snow to drive in

Normally doesn't shut down much around here either, but about a 1/2" of ice and sleet was down before and the snow fell in about 4 hours, what is really killing them is that there are cars everywhere on the roads, they can't clean up anything

lol everyone at my dads work called in. Been using my dads ute to get around. Even helped a few police officers get unstuck.

Here in Mid Missouri they ( police ) closed I -70 from Masheall/sedaila exit to Kingdom city exit. About 100 miles on I -70. they were telll everyone to stay home. The University of Missouri of Columbia called off classes to today. The 4th time in school history. I have seen them closes the past two time. So it must be very bad. I missed work for the first time in 17 years because of snow. 25 miles in blinding snow is no fun.

The snow started for us around 1:30 this afternoon and it isn't supposed to let up for another 3 days . There's about 4 inches on the ground right now . I just got done putting the plow on the Grizzly and getting it winterized !!!!:devil:
