I took off my header yesterday to grind the welds adn i foudn that all that seals the header into the block is 2 metal peiced that can't come off because they are around the header.

One of the metal peices is slightly bent and i am scared that when i put it back on it will not seal correctly.
Can i take these off some how and get new ones or and i screwed?

You can get them copper washers from the dealer.

Your actually suppose to replace those everytime you take your header off. Before you put them on, they are round like a tube kinda, and they flatten out when you tighten the header up.

When I took my pipe off, the metal seals stayed up in the head. BTW...I've never replaced mine with new when I removed and installed them. Mainly because my local doesn't stock them. Anyway, if the head pipes are overtightened, the flanges will bend slightly and the studs will get bent too. They just get little harder to slide off and on. You should be okay.
