most kits come with piston, rings, circlips, wristpin. as long as your connecting rod is fine the kit is all you need. I have wiesco pistons and they dont seem to wear out very fast.

get a weisco forged piston....the only way to go. The cast pistons can be a little lighter but trust me....you will thank me when you blow it up, you will be cleaning out the bottom end for days, lol.

Is yer banshee needing rebuilt? I would get it honed too.
I run Vito's pistons. Had them for 3 years now. they have hd a fairly hard life. Raced it in a XC raced and the radiator was empty within 2 laps of 6:huh Still runs today. It was running so hot that it felt like the throttle was sticking
Vito's piston held up well. Surprisingly there made by wiesco

no it doesnt need to be rebuilt im just putting new pistons in...but whats the most you can bore it over before you cant run pump gas anymore?or does it not matter what kind of gas you use?

No matter how far you bored it out you can run whatever gas you want. The higher the compression the higher Octane you gotta run

I recommend replacing wristpin needle bearings while you already have it apart since some kits do not come with it.

bore has absolutely no relevance in regards to pump gas. compression is the determining factor for the required octance rating of your fuel

+ 1... a piston kit comes with the rings, clips, and wrist pin... i would go ahead and replace the wrist pin bearings while you are in there...
