Hey guys i have a set of Tamers that I am going to groove. I was thinking about gettign the Tire Groover from Nacs but i was wondering what i could use that i have around my house. I have a large shop in One Stall of Our 3 Stall Garage and i have any tools you can think of. What will work best to get the tire gooved the best?

just get a knife, use a torch to get it red hot and cut the knobbs with the knife.

If you're going to buy at least 1 or 2 more sets of Tamers, go ahead and buy the groover. It will pay for itself very quickly. A friend of mine grooved his with a pocket knife, and cut his hand open. 2 weeks, 18 stitches and some pain meds later, it was ok, but a groover would've been alot easier.

MxDale71 has some wicked sweet pig hoof trimmers we've been debating on.. But not sure yet.

And about the torch.. Whatcha gonna' do when you cut a hole in it?
