change rim on lrt450 8 to 9´´?

hello people i want to change the rims because in my plece the roar are very strong its a volcanic place im from gran canaria spain and the question are i feel any problen if i change mi rims to 9? because y need more distance to the floor on the road are more holes and stones. or its better change the tire and put a big tire? y use some times my quadbike to make some rounds in a circuit a make some jumps tats my realy question:confused: thanks and escuse my english:)

if you are looking for more ground clearance you need to get bigger tires and rims, a tall tire on an 8 inch rim causes poor handling, so if I were you I would upgrade to 9 inch rims and 20x10x9 tires

Yeah, I would also recomend that you go with a 20 inch tire and a 9 in wheel. I would also recomend if you are not racing motocross that you switch your countershaft sproket (front sproket) from a 14 tooth to a 15 tooth.

He says he does circuits and some jumps. You could check out the 19" itp holeshots w/ 9 in rims.
