i have a 99 400 and it has an lonestar carrier rear end on it, but it has the stock axle and hubs. i was wondering which axle with fit that rear and which one i should go with. another thing is +1 gives u half an inch more whith correct?

Just get an aftermarket axle for the 400EX. A 250R axle would potentially fit but the hub splines are different so there's no point.

I recommend Lonestar or RPM, they both have good lifetime warranties and people seem to have the best luck with them.

When dealing with the REAR end, a +4 axle means 4 inches more than stock overall (2 inches on each side).

my X33 is great.. was a breeze to install.. and it came with hubs.. but the warranty could be better.. if anything.. make sure you look at the warranty..

correct me if im wrong about DuraBlue.. they replace the first one free and then after that you have to pay like 100-200 to replace it.. or something like that..

You are right about the warranty. It's more of a pseudo-lifetime warranty than a real one lol.

I like my X-33 too....i've beat the hell out of it for 4 years now. I did have to upgrade the crappy cast aluminum hubs it came with due to the pin drive holes wallowing out and making the tires wobble. I replaced them with billet hubs and it's all good now. When it does decide to snap on me, i'm going with a RPM simply for the better warranty.

Lonestar!! They have the best customer service. I bought a LSR axle used and bent the crap out of it. Sent to it LSR and all I had to pay was shipping. Straightened it perfect and I got it back 1 week later.
