What To Use For Paint?

I plan on painting my Subframe and A arms soon and i don't know what paint to use. I know i should get it powdercoated but i don't have that much money right now. If i do get the suframe pced i gonna have Kenn do it.

But for now i need to paint my Subframe Red.

And i gotta paint My a arms cause they are are worn off.

WHat paint is the best to use?

use an laquer primer....then a red laquer ...then laquer clear. if you take your time and let each coat completely dry it will turn out great.

yea but how long does that last. O yea and kenny how much you charge to powdercoat frames? I think me a tommy are coming down this winter.

i still wont do frames..not until i am completely confident i can do them and do them correctly. i am talking with a local shop about leasing me the use of their oven and it looks good so far.

subs are gravy....a arms are too...but they have to be aftermarket.

todays paints have come along way...and if done correctly it will last for a good long time. the pic of the white a arms has 5 coats of clear. it wont stop a mean rock from rippin it off there..but powdercoat wont stop that either:rolleyes:

I used a can of spray paint that cost me .99 a can at walmart.

its not a close up..but the a arms are painted . the rest is powdercoated
