Maintenance poster from Honda

Hey anyone else recieved their maintenance poster for the 2006 450r? The thing that I seen that caught my eye is that they say that the best way to fill your trans and engine is to fill with the correct measurement of oil. Most people do not recheck the level after starting engine after they fill the trans when the oil level runs out the hole. Honda says that it could cause the trans fluid to be low if not rechecked.

yeah i got one, (all the simple maintenance stuff it had on it i already knew about) but its still cool to have anyway.

The reason is when you fill it back up the case could fill with an air pocket or just not settle in the correct place because you could have your bike sitting in a bad position or the oil could be cold. If any of this happens and you check as soon as you put the oil in and never start it and let it warm up for the recheck you could possibly not have enough oil in it.... Better safe than sorry..

ya i got one for my 04 but the bike on the poster is a 06 07.
