Fixing Plastic

Alright i need some help i am a perfectionist and i get erked at the weirdest things but i want to fix my plastics and the place where the tabs that hook into the black peice are broken on one side can anyone tell me how to fix this with no outter defects.

U can plastic weld the side panels to the front fenders (on the inside of course). I did mine three years ago, and it has held up perfect.

It's the same basic concept as welding. U have a plastic rod, and a heat gun which allows u to "weld" the plastics together.

My buddy had a kit, and my tabs were broke, so I wanted to see if it would work. It held up for three years. I'll see if I can get some pics.

Haha no but it sure as hell looks better than mine. At first i tryed to use JB weld :eek2: I didn't have n e better ideas. Thanks for all the useful info. Could i use some of the plastic flux with a sodering gun. Hey u know my buddy Perry Walston was in that movie BigFish. He was in my 7th grade Language Class havent talked to him in about 2 years but me and him use to be pretty tight.

I have never heard of plastic weld but it looks pretty awesome in my opinion.

I think i am going to just going to buy some of the fiberglass composite stuff from the auto store. I had to fix the curb guard on my moms BMW due to her trying to hit the bushes on the other side of the sidewalk. I used it on that and it worked good for about a week then she broke the other side. We arn't getting the sportpackage next time.:D
