Do you still have this bike? I'm in kansas as well and am looking for a good project banshee.

Yeah I still have it, but this is not really a project banshee. I just tore it down and replaced bearings and seals and detailed it down to the core. Loctite on ever bolt and added new chain slider and roller. This is an extrmemly clean bike now with nothing needed. I am pretty firm on the price no that I put the work into it. Open to offers though.

cool cool.. when i say "project" i mean i want to build a badass duner. Full suspension, cub motor, etc.

I hear ya. I would like to do that too, but damn it's so expensive. Your pretty close to F.A.S.T as well. They could hook you up with all the sh&t.

I am looking to switch to a 4 Stroke. I would like to get into GNCC racing and the Banshee just doesn't cut it.

Yeah my uncle knows jeff pretty well. I just need a bike to start the project. His shop's only like 25 min from my house.

To be honest, you'll probably want to start with something much more rough than mine. My bike needs nothing, so you would be trashing alot of good parts. The motor has only 25-35 hours on it and everything else is either newly replaced or in top condition.

You can make your Banshee a GNCC Machine that will win races if you mod it properly. Elka Elite, PB36CR, Ride hieght adj, Elite Rear with Elkas dual linkage. +2+1 A Arms, a -2 Roundhouse swingarm, a Scoots steering stabilizer that adjusts on the fly, Flexxx Bars, Razr IIs with Tire Balls, A 2:1 PWK 35 Carb and intake V3s a Noss Head Advance your timing with a plate +4 and some Paul Turner Midrange pipes to compliment your port job and some endurance and you can be the fastest one on the track. Or you can make a 250R style Banshee with the Lonestar Outlaw frame but that gets way to expensive for me anyway. The setup with the Stock chassis is the exact setup Im working on except I will have a 4mill stroker crank setup with a lowend Agressive woods port and Ill be riding GNCC with it. I wouldnt trade for any 4 stroke in the world.

I agree with you, but all that would cost me soo much. Don't get me wrong I love the 2 strokes, but I know a 4 stroke will be better for me in the woods. The key to that sentence is "for me".

Oh, and I'm not interested in a Warrior. Thanks.

Just finishing up my winter run through this bike. I tore her down and put it back together peice by peice, loctiting every nut & bolt and replacing anything that needed it. I would really like to get rid of this before spring. My asking price is fair, but I am willing to take offers.

how you like that pro design with the 20cc domes i'm planning on getting some next week what octane you running on them?

Love the cool head. It made a large difference. The thing I notice most is how much cooler the bike runs. My buddies that don't have it have problems down at the dunes and in the tight trails with overheating. I can run premium pump gas but I prefer to run 110. I live about 5 miles from the Midwest VP sub-station so there is plenty on hand for me.

This is a must have item for Banshee owners.
