I am selling my 2005 Honda TRX400EX. The quad has about 25 hours on it and is in perfect condition. There are the normal scratches on the plastic from riding through the woods but nothing major. There are no cracks in the plastic. Last week, I installed an HMF slip-on and a Uni filter. I also re-jetted the carb to a 42 pilot and upsized the main to a 165. This quad runs absolutely perfect. The stock tires are still at about 75% and the oil has been changed after every other ride with synthetic oil. I removed the parking brake and installed a block-off plate as well as installed an MSR clutch perch and lever.
There is a fully transferrable warranty through Honda on this quad that is in effect until 10/08. The extended warranty is free to transfer and any Honda dealer can take care of the paperwork.
I recently purchased a set of EBC severe duty rear brake pads for it thinking that it may be about time to change them. Once I removed the caliper, I realized that there was about 50% left on the stock pads. I will include the never opened pads with the quad.
The only other additions to the quad are a set of DG Alloy Series nerf bars and an AC Racing front bumper.
This quad has never been raced and has only been used at our local state riding areas.
I am asking $3,800 for the quad and have the title in hand. Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer. I will post a picture or two once it stops raining.
I also have a 4'X6' trailer available that is about 3 months old. Trailer price is negotiable.
The only thing I would be interested in trading for would be a 2006 or 2007 Yamaha YFZ 450 that is stock and in perfect condition. I will throw in the extra cash to make up the difference.
