are there any good shocks front and back for like a grand or less

i ride mostly trails but some jumps

Sounds like a set of Works would be your best bet if your on a budget.

Works for the front set up for your weight, a arms, and riding style.

For the back, the stock 400 shock isn't that bad. Just get it set up for your weight and riding style. Derisi, GT thunder, or C & D can hook u up w/ anything u need.

i have the elka rec series on the front and the gt thunder linkage and revalve on my 400ex, love the feel of it...way better than stock and didn't break the bank...

For a 400ex that is a great setup....:macho

You can just revalve your stock rear for your weight and your style of riding.

You send it off to have it revalved.
