plastic colors

I was thinking about getting black plastic for my 400EX, are scratches that noticable. do you guys recommend a different color or should i just stick with red.

While a black quad looks awfully nice with clean, unscratched plastic, the black plastic will make scratches stand out alot more than most colors. If you want something different than red I like Gabe's 400ex with the new Maier shiny bright green plastic - it looks sweet. Or buy some new OEM Honda red or yellow plastic and a OEM Honda black 400ex seat cover. In my opinion the black seat cover with the red plastic looks great. Either way you go you are really going to need a new black seat cover unless you buy red plastic, because a read seat cover and yellow, green, blue, etc. plastic looks pretty bad.

your right probably stick with red. Is the oem better that mejier or is their a slight difference in color, shade, or price?

hey...just my 2 cents....i have had stock...maier and fullbore. i liked stock the best. fit and durability on the oem cannot be beat.

If you want red - stick with OEM. Like Kenny said, it is often the best quality and fit. And for the 400ex OEM plastic is dirt cheap (I paid $120 for the front and rear fenders shipped to my door).

I have a 03' yellow 300ex and i just don't like the way the plastic is held in in the front and back it flaps way to muh in the wind. urg..... very annoying. thats the only downfault to it. hey anyone know a really loud exhaust for my 300. wait wait before you yell i only do riding on a track not to worry. oh and some good rims and tires. send me a praivate message plz.
