will any 400 exhaust fit on any other 400??

say... a Z400 after market exhaust on a 400ex??

i just cant find an exhaust system so i wonder if another machines will fit on my 400ex??

Full exhaust systems will not for sure. The headpipe connects to the head of a 400ex in 2 places where as the z400 is one single pipe with one exhaust port on the head. Now as far as slip on's i dont know, but I doubt it.

im guessing a slip on wouldnt cuz the mounting brackets and stuff would be in different spots.

IF i was you i would just buy a HMF slip-on i think they are the best pipes for 400ex's. WELL in my opinion they are thats what i got on my 400ex and if i had to do it again i would buy another HMF
