i searched alot and just cant find out if a 450R exhaust will fit on a 400ex???

Im pretty sure that will work... the mounts for the exhaust wont line up exactly but ive seen it done and it works....

there is no point the exhaust are practiacaly the same. Get a s-o from a well known company. (i.e. hmf, fmf, sparks,duncan, ect.)

i have a stock 450r exhaust on my 02 400ex. Need to make a spacer and bracket or either drill thru the frame.
