What's the difference between ceramic and stainless? Are they both shiny? Which should I get?

make sure you get a stainless pipe. the non-stainless ones rust bad and they pretty much seal up at the header/silencer connection. now sparks only makes stainless ones. however, there is an option to get it ceramic coated. either one will be fine. the coated one will be silver color. the non coated stainless one will be a bronze color.

Does anyone have pics of a stainless steel sparks header, and a ceramic coated one?

Basically like said, the regular is gonna turn the brownish/gold color compared to the ceramic coated which will stay chrome/silver.

Will the ceramic coated get caked with mud?

they both will get caked with mud but they both will clean off. it really depends on how well you take care of your bike and how often you clean it.

How do i clean it? with a regular brush and simple green, or with something special?

I just clean mine with Armor All soap and water. Simple green is fine, too.

i just use soap and water but if you don't clean your bike as frequently as i do then you may need to use a cleaner. i don't think i would use a brush, especially on the ceramic versions.
