I just talked to the good folks over at Dubach Racing and they told me the the Dr.D S/A slip on exhaust is only 93 db. If you install the quiet core then it goes down to 91 db! Is this true, does any one have this system? They claim it makes 3.5 to 4 HP with your air box lid on. I know other systems make more HP like HMF, which I currently run, but look at those db's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO, Slip-on's are a waste of money, unless you are running one in conjuction with the HRC Headpipe on an 06/07 450R.

1HP tops gain. You're pretty much paying for sound.

A larger aftermarket head pipe is where the power gain is at!

Mine tested 94db @ 3750rpms when it was new, with the quiet core. After about 10 hours of use it tested 96db @ 3750 RPMs. I will have it tested this Saturday before the race. It has about another 6 hours on it since the last test. I will report back.
