Timing on 400ex

My friend and I are working on his 440ex and the timing chain jumped off the sprocket. Well I have no service manual and somebody is actually buying the quad so we need to figure how to redo the timing. Please help:ermm:

just move your flywheel to the timing mark with the chain on the bottom sprocket(dont know the technical name) then adjust the cam sprocket until the the 3 lines are even with the head like this _ | _ (you'll know what im talking about after you look at the sprocket then put it on the cam with the lobes facing somewhat down and towards intake. i can probably explain it better but this shoiuld help you out
