computer troubles

hey I have a dell dimension 4550. My mom went to go restart it and when she went to turn it back on it wouldn't turn on. Everything is plugged in but the processor has no power going to it at all?

The same thing happened to my brother's Sony Vaio laptop over the weekend. I believe it is an internal motherboard issue, luckily his is still under warranty.

you might check to see if the power supply fan is running. If not, it mightve crapped out.
