Shakes when going fast

When riding my 400ex at maxium or near maxium speeds it shakes . Im quessing that balance is off or somthing....I have no clue what it is? I checked tire presssure but thats all I know that can throw balance off...Axel also looks fine, Any sugestions?

do you have any of that tire stuff in there that stops seals up holes when you get a puncture?

yah thats probably it and when you ad a lot to one tire it starts to ball up inside causing that. You really shouldn't use that much of the stuff like they say to on the bottle on a lot of them. They say to use a bottle per tire on the ones I saw and thats probably so you buy more bottles.

Would you have any sugesstions on fixing it....... add some to the other tire?

You could try balancing it by putting more in the other tire but then you are adding to the overall weight. I would just get new tires or put in a tube.

the fix-a-flat type goop has probably all gone to one side of the tire and thrown that wheel severly out of balance..

the best way to fix it would be to dismount the wheel, clean the goop up, then fix the leak with a plug / patch.. :(

ummmm,, make sure your hubs are tightened.....

that will make the one side shake........

also, your rim could be bent...
