I sent one, it took about a month or longer to get a response. It ended up only being a little off the price...It's still in my room, but I dont know if I want to do it or not now. Its not much of a help for me.

A sponsorship isnt worth much unless it is like 20%. But if you are allready planning on buying their stuff it is better than nothing. You should try Houser they have a good support system, also try rated x motorsports, i am sponsored by them in 2007. They just came out with some sick a-arms!!!

ohh yeah wheelieman i suggest you not show us your discount, they could see you on here telling secrets that your not supposed to tell. And also other sponsors on here might see you telling everybody else your contract info and may not want to sponsor you just because of that!!!

Ok.

Josh- I figure since they fully support some people with free stuff they would do like 75%, 50%, 35, 25 etc. Maybe I would stand out enough to get 50%.

LSR is very good with sponroships, your first year might not be anything special. but if you stick with them and show your improvement in racing, they will definitely help you out a lot.

Yah, I agree with NacsRacer. I just got sponsored by them, they responded in a few days. I am not getting a huge discount, but it definitely helps out in an expensive sport like this. And I highly suggest that you do not tell people your discount level, unless you are good friends with them and trust them, because if word somehow gets back to the company that you are sharing private info about your contract, they will cut you off immediately.

I've gotten my reply from LSR and I couldn't be happier. With all companies, you are not gonna swing a huge cut on your first year with them and you need to establish a good raport with any sponsor through out the season with race reports and communication. It's always a good idea to list some contacts on your resume with current and previous sponsors as a referrence. If you have shown in the past that you can do more than just buy and run their product at discount, you are more likely to be a valued member at any company. And you certainly do not go telling everyone what you get offered. You don't tell everyone your rate of pay and expenses in your household so why do it in racing?

If the company can help you get items under contract that you normally couldn't have gotten otherwise, its a good deal!

Alot of companies do not send out responses until after Dec as alot of deadlines are Nov 30th. So be patient.

You seem kind of "slow" to me, becuase every time i've called LSR they have responded to all my questions. I called them once about a bent axle without a card or anything. They gave me a number to put on the shipping box and told me to ship it and they would cover the return shipping and free of charge for straightening the axle.
