im trying to download media player 10 onto my computer which has XP on it an it says it isnt compatible why not?

I dont know why its doin that but Windows media player 11 is out now. i highly recomend it.

yeah i updated to the figureing(sp) that i could roll back to 10 because i need to for my phone but i cant it goes back to 9.??

i'm just trying to get the music to work cause it has built in MP3 with Vcast but it wont let me get media player 10

i have windows meadia player, but everytime i put in a dvd it come sup that i need to install a dvd decoder:confused: for it to be able to read the disk

"Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer."

i got the same message, and i tried downloading the new version and it wont work

Windows and Windows Media Player does not come with a codec for DVD. This is extra $$$. WMP will play if you install a program like winDVD or cyber DVD. If you want to play DVD's then use Video Lan. Can get it here..........

It's open source and not pretty but there is absolutely no format it won't play. Great software.
