I have a 2005 450r and I just go my letter from honda and it says you need to grease the swingarm bolt. Just wondering the best way to do it. Do you just pull the bolt out and grease the bolt or what. I appreciate any help.

jack the frame up off the ground so the rear wheels arent touching the ground either...then remove the pivot bolt. put grease on it and put it back in...its really easy and doesnt take more then 10 minutes to do. you will have to take the rear brake pedal off too to get to the bolt to make things easier

Don't use grease, go to the auto parts store and pick up anti seize compound. Take pivot bolt out and liberally apply the anti seize, although most will scrape off as you reinsert bolt. Do this at least twice a year.

I use marine grease. I take the swingarm parctially out of the quad so I can take the grease and work it into the needle bearings. I also do this with all of the rear linkage bearings.
