I just did a rebuild on this motor (less then 2 hours on it) for a friend so he could start to do a little racing and then he decided he wanted a 450r so I bought his 400ex just to part out. the rebuild consisted of
new hotrod crank
new bearings
new intake valves
new second gears(their was 1 small chip on one gear)
new JE rings (had like new 11:1 406 piston)
new GT Thunder 7/16 studs
new crf cam chain
new valve guide seals
along with all new gaskets and seals
the cases are in great shape and no repairs have been done to it. The motor is still in the quad so that anyone that wants to ride it first can. I put over $500 in this motor so it would be reliable not super fast.
I will be parting the rest of the quad out also. (all stock) Make Offers or contact me for more info.
