So, a new indoor track opened up and theres a ton of jumps in there. And i figured if im gonna be riding there andi have never hit a jump i figured i'd get the basics before i try. When i land do i want to land 4 wheels down with a backwards lean, or rear two down with a forwords lean, or what?

start small man, always keep the gas going or when you land you will flip over the quad, i usually lean back slightly and land on my back wheels not sure what your supposed to do but thats what i do and it works good, its kinda hard to land on all 4's so yah.. never ever land on front wheels first, you want to avoid that. Thats the basics be sure to start small before you try anything crazy.

ya u prolly want 2 land on the back 2 by a bit and give er some gas. u can adjust how ur gunna land by leanin and givin it gas in the air or pull in the brake

Start off by landing on the back two the railing the gas after you land. Once you feel comfortable enough you can start landing smoothly with all 4 wheels.

but get one thing straight. dont keep the gas pinned throughought the whole jump in the air etc.. just tap the throttle in the air alittle.

but i agree with what was said earlier. IMO id make a small jump at your house, maybe 2ft high and jump that a bunch of times, till you know what its like in the air. then move to bigger jumps as you get better

Yes I can't stress that enough DO NOT keep the gas pinned. And a little practice jump would be an excellent idea. It is way better to have good form on a small jump then to go balls out on a big one and hurt yourself. Good luck man just keep at it.

imo i wouldnt necessarily worry about ur technique as much as practice. u start thinking too much and it gets confusing. hit the small stuff first and your body will get the basics on its own. then when you move to 30 40 ft gaps itll feel different. let the quad do the work in the air. ur just there for the ride. ull know when you need to manipulate the bike. but like the prev. person said. ur take off is almost more important then the landing. you take off the jump wrong ur landing is gonna take alittle more work. not that its the right way but. eventually ull get to a jump that ur scared ****less to hit. and u just do it. keep the right safety gear on and ull be alright.

yea, i was thinking about hitting some jumps in the snow when it comes cus i live in a sub so i cant just cruise around hitting jumps and stuff. And the biggest jump i think at the track is only like 15 feet long, but its like a jump and u either land at like 5 feet and than its flat and than goes down again, how would i want to hit that? And what happens if i pin the gas in mid air?

if you hit the gas in mid air.. your rear end will drop..
