Cutting 400ex plastic

alrite i wanna cut my plastic but the thing is taking a die grinder and cutting my plastic scares me just a little. Anyways if some one could tell me the best way to do this and cut it as even as possible. a tut with some pics would be nice. any help would be be appreciated greatly.

just draw a line or use tape. then cut away...

I'd say tape it off... Here's some pics. but what year is yours? 99-04 or 05+? If 99-04 this should help...

I figured that i think thats what i will do. is there a place that will do this. Thanks for the speedy response.

how about just cutting it along the bend in the plastic

for mine i cut them with out tape but left go bit left so i could use my sanding belt to get it just right came out awsome....
rember its always best to do to little than to much cuzz u can cut more if u dont do enuff the first time!

thanks so much you dont know how much this has helped. I figured a jigsaw would be. how much did you leave to sand off.
