I am in need of a wiring schematic if anyone could help me out, I will pay money for copying and sending.

I have the 04/05 manual and I know its not right.

I really want to know what the wire under the clutch is?

Thanks,
Chino

Hey Rollie,

You are the man, I need the wiring diagrams to the ER, they are the same!

Thanks man, I have a converted ER to kicker only and I took the battery off, now I have all the goofy wiring to remove, not only that, the :macho battery box that Honda built for the itty bitty battery!

My guess this is the weakness of the ER starting!

Please email to chino886@gmail.com!

Look at this mess, I just want to be able to have a tail light out of all this when its done.

I know the TPS wires are in this mess!

Oh well, gives me something to do while my a-arms are being built!

The neutral indicator must be something that is only need on "electric" start models.

I did not overtighten, just got done draining oil and did not wipe it off.

yeah, its got to be your neutral indicator light. i just looked in my manual and it shows that the neutral indicator light is only on the ER model!!!

THanks for the confirmation, I guess it is safe to say that since I don't have the neutral light and I have a kicker, then I can take it off as well.

Thanks.

what wires can you remove without screwing with the CDI?

I know on my 250r i have the wiring down to just a simple cr250 setup.

my question is, if you remove all the brake, TPS, and all that stuff. and get it down to the bare minimum... aka tether-cdi-stater-starter and stuff, are u goona screw urself?

trying to save weight, or what?

It was an ER, but now its a kicker so I have no use for the battery or all of the battery cables, wires, and all that nonsense back there. The neutral indicator wire is no use since the previous owner took the neutral light off. So having all those extra wires back there is just a nightmare to me!
