8 inch or 9 inch rear hypers

I plan on buying rear hypers very soon and I am also buying new tires. for the rear rim should I buy an 8 inch or 9 inch what is the difference in riding besides just the size..

Depends on what you will use them for. If they are strickly for MX than go with 8''. If you plan on riding both MX and trail than I would recomend to go with the 9'' wheel.

I will be racing MX only.. what are the pro/cons of both the 8&9 inch wheel

These are reasons that are off the top of my head:

-lighter weight
-most MX tires are for a 8 inch wheel

The 9 inch rim will corner a little better since there isn't as much in the side wall flex. The 8 inch rim will make it ride a little better since there is more sidewal to bend and take up some of the impacts from the bumps. I'm guessing your gonna run 18 inch tires too.
