saw a new chevy today

went to the hunting shop in town today for a box of bullets, and there was a dealership rep there with an 07 chevy 1500. i have to say, i was impressed by it. very sharp looking truck. i don't think that there were that many changes to them as far as drivetrain.

this fall im going to be in the market for a new truck. if i don't find a nice cummins, this may end up being my second choice:eek2:


anybody else seem them?

Yep, my father just placed an order for a new 07 2500 HD. I should be in by mid to end of January 2007.

Its a new truck all around, inside and out.

I wasn't impressed by the pics I saw at the press release but I've seen 2 of them now at local dealerships and they are very nice looking trucks in person. Definitely my choice of truck when I'm in the market again.

Thats why he ordered it... the new body style heavy duty's are not out yet... still building them. It will resemble the 1/2 ton's that are out now, but with a HD look to them. I'll see if I can find pictures.

until January when the 2500HD's are out the 07 Chevy 2500hd's will be called 07 "classics" they will just be the same as the 06 LBZ but with an 07 badge.

The "real" 07 HD's will have the updated body style and are supposed to be released mid to late January 07. The diesel will be the LMM motor witch will have the new Fed emissions on it.

I still like the looks of my 06 LBZ :D

yep, i seen one a couple weeks ago. i went to the local dealership to check them out. i sat in a white 07 silverado, and then a red 07 sierra....they where both really nice, and both big a** 4 doors. i want a extended cab though. they have really stepped it up this year i think.

I am impressed with the looks of the new chevy.. I got to sit in one at the boat show down here, i guess they were giving it away with a boat, and i have to say they stepped it up with interior quality. The last models interior seemed so cheap to me, i feel like im gona break something when I sit in one...

After owning a Chevy Colorado I'd be careful about jumping right into this new style fullsize though.:o I like the looks of the 1/2 ton but the old HD looks much better to me. Actually the new HD reminds me of the big ford. Kinda has that Tonka truck look.:ermm:

I looked at one for the 1st time this weekend.07 Silverado quad cab $35,000.I think GM is going to have a monster hit with this one.... it looks much better in person than in the early photos.Also something else that GM has done is raised thier warranty from 3 years/36,000 miles to 5 years 100,000 miles.Time to go trade the Trailblazer in!

I drove by the dealer today and saw one sittin out front. I at first did not like them in the pictures, but after actually seeing one in person I think they are pretty cool.
