well, this christmas im getting new suspension... i told my rents id go half with them. anyways, im wondering if just a rear rebuild would be fine for now. if im getting axis or pep up front, would the back shock stick out performance wise if i just rebuilt it and ran that way for a while? thanks guys

IMO you'll be fine. I ran a stock rebuilt rear shock (dual rated, revalved, re-sprung). Worked awesome, and with a linkage worked even better. The stock honda shocks are pretty stout and shouldn't have a problem keeping up.

a rebuilt stocker (with new link) should be just fine.
