what kind of mods will give a banshee alot of bottom end or can you give a banshee alot of bottom end

First thing I would do is stroke it with a 4MM stroker crank, then find a good engine builder to port your stock cylinders for MX. then use some good 28 or 33MM PWK carbs and around 200lbs of compression.
Whatever you do do not use a cheetah cub cylinder. IMO they are a great drag cylinder but really no good for a MX motor.

Getting low end out of a banshee isn't that hard. Getting a decent two into one pipe would be a good idea (a dyno port for example) and get a 2 into 1 carb setup, also getting your compression up around 180 would be a good idea. I have seen this combo work very well on some MX shee's I have seen and ridden.

Different gearing and pipes would be the cheaper route. I have a 2 into 1 dynoport pipe for sale if any one is interested.

When I ran XC I had this set up.
T6 Pipes
Delta V 2s
adjustible timing plate
vito pistons
K&N filter with the plate that bolts onto the airbox (I have a brain fart and forget what to call it)
Didn't cost too much and gave me some good lowend. Plus it was still very reliable.:)

A good start is a 13tooth front sprocket, big differnce :cool:

Yes play with the gearing, it make s ahuge diffrence.
Personally I liked the stock gearing with 20inch tires.

Mine seems alot easyier to ride since I put the 13 on it, before I was allways shifting but now I can stay in 2nd-3rd in the woods with some clutch work :)
