heres a link to a tool chest i might get it looks like a good deal for 100 dollars but its only on sale tommorow. so i would like to know if it looks like a good deal, im almost 17 so i dnt need major stuff liek ball bearing and all the bells and whistles just nee somehtign to hold my tools. does ne one else have this same chest and do u like it / how durable is it etc.

o yea and that big sitcker/ decal at the bottom of the tool box just coems with it so i wouldnt have to put it on if i didnt want to

only 5 drawers? I would think between wrenches and socket sets you could just about fill that up. I think i paid $180.00 for my three tier 14 drawer craftsmen, might think about spendin just a little more to get some extra space.

The 14 drawer ones go for around 1000 dollars.

But I would still look for like an 8 drawer atleast.

i have the same one but red. in the first drawer i keep all my standard wrenches, next drawer i keep metric wrenches, screwdrivers in the next. the bottom box top drawer i keep all socket sets and ratchets, and bottom drawer i keep my big stuff like pipe wrenches and pliers. thats prolly all you need id buy it. thats a good deal. the ball bearing slides are nice but for a backyard mechanic theyre not important.

You buy the bottom roll away cabinet for $129 then the very top 7 drawer for $69, they give you the middle three drawer for free.

Hell of a deal, for 200 bones.

That $100 box is fine for most home shops. I have one close to it and it works well.

well i ended up gettign it.
yes it was actually 70 bucks not 100 i got it on black friday, its big enough for me and i got like a 200 pc mechanics tool set (craftsman) and it fills it nicely with some space left over for hammers etc.

Not a bad tool box set at all, for 70 bucks.

You bought the less expensive box and more tools with the money saved, good idea.

Down the road in a few years if the drawers give you trouble you can go with a better quality box, by then you will have a better idea how much daily use the box will get.
