I don't have a buffer, just used my bare hands. My hands are sore from rubing so hard on it.

It's not to bad doing it like that. It took me about 20 minutes to make it look like that.

Very nice, i did the same to my brushed HMF a while ago. Theres two plusses to it, 1.) It looks better than normal and 2.) its so much easier to clean.

I have a drill and a powerball that i use on it to polish got it at the Auto parts store!!! Ohh and if you get a drill get one with a cord that way the battery will not go down.

the more you work on it the better it will look!!!:eek2:

My white bros e series i had looking like glass with in a half hour.

My white bros R4 took over 4 hours. Its stainles steal and was all ruff so i had to sand it all down smooth and then had to get the sand paper scratches out of it and it still dont look good as i want it too.

Looks nice man, The "Incredible billet metal polish" that mothers makes is what i swear by. Its like almost 10$ a can, but a lil goes a long way and is worth every penny, its a great polish. Not sure what mothers polish your using, but anyone interested in polishing up their exhaust or anything else should give it a try.

about the swing arm mine seems to be painted??? its stock but im just a little curious what was done, as flat as it is a sander could really speed up the process but i just dunno how you'd polish that... i'd also like to paint it this winter any ideas on how well you think itll stick???

last season i just lightly sanded my stock swingarm and spray painted it black with no primer or anything and it held up pretty well the only part that wore off was underneath at the very back because i had no skid plate if you used primer and clear coated it i bet it would hold up very well
