I am getting a yoshimura RS3 slip on and am wondering what I can expect from it. also how loud is it compared to other pipes. thanks

It isnt very loud at all. IMO. With the full exhaust/jetting/K&N/ airbox lid removed, it'll wake the Z right up.

jonboy, do you have the RS3 or the comp exhaust???? do you know anything about them besides the $200 diff in price??

I bought the RS3 with the head pipe. I bought it from the dealer, I believe the Comp series has a slightly different bend to it,and is more for use with cams or big bore. You may want to call Yosh to find out for sure.

Unless you mod the airbox or take the lid off you shouldnt need to rejet. I dont know what elevation you are at but, Mine with no lid is dyno jet 160 main,needle on the 3rd clip and 3 turns out on the fuel screw,and it runs real good but I also have the head pipe. I believe the recomendations for the slip on call for a 155 main jet. Somebody check me on this.....
