Winter Vacations ... Who's Going Where?

So who's got vacations planned for this winter ??

With the cold winter months right on our doorstep , anyone have any plans to go lay on a sunny beach anywhere , or maybe for those that have sunny beaches all year round , are you planning to make any trips to see some snow somewhere?

I've mentioned it before in a " What are you getting for Christmas" thread , but I thought I'd start my own to see who's going where .

My girlfriend and I , along with 4 other couples are heading to the Playa Caleta resort in Varadero Cuba for a week come February 14th 2007 . It's our Christmas gift to eachother , and our way of breaking up the long winter months .

We went and signed all the papers today , and got a wicked deal since we are a group going . For my girlfriend and I , it's going to cost less than $3000 for an all-inclusive vacation , flying directly out of town here ( most flights fly from Toronto which is 4-5 hours away) , taxes included and full health/trip insurance coverage .

going snow skiing in vail and breckenridge for 7 days probably breckenridge the most we got a condo right on the mountain "ski in ski out" going in january.

Go to Hawaii, one of the best things ive ever done in my life. Bahamas was ok but has nothing on Hawaii.

My Dad and I are going up north and renting some sleds for 4 days with 4 other guys. Going to be a blast.

going to chicago from nashville, tn for 2 weeks :ermm: in december

probably make a trip up north for some hunting and snowmobiling

you guys are nuts going up skiing in december and january, up in killington, utah, colorado and all those fancy resorts, its WAY too much money, its crowded and its FREEZING!! if you go in the spring, theres no one there, its cheap and its warm out so you can wear a tshirt and underarmour while skiing/snowboarding

but whatever, im going to florida for like 5 days, then a cruise for like 5 days to like the bahamas and jamaica or something crazy like that. also going to visit my grandpa and grandma in FL and going to disney world while im there :p

well lets see your what 12 years old, so u really dont have to pay for nething. and its a trip with my buddies and it up to killington, 7 days for $350 a person with passes and a 4 bedroom condo, right on the mountain. seems like a very good deal in my eyes, plus the skiing is just a bonus, getting far away from home for a week, hanging out with your friends and of course the....well you know.

plus why go in the spring when the snow sucks.

Leaving big island too oahu (honolulu) jan 2.For 5 days.Going to relax and hang out on waikiki beach head to north shoar for a small kine vacation.Fiance is looking for wedding dress.I guess this kinda counts Im not leaving the state of HI but its still a vacation.

I went on 2 both on carnival one to the western carribean and the other to the eastern carribean

I see alot of people are coming to Florida... well hopefully you come when its warm because for us its been pretty cold here lately..even snowed in orlando tuesday..

But anyways im going to beech mountain or something in north corolina with the family, should be fun...
